It is shown that Oxygen-containing impurities which are formed in the course of synthesis and storage of ZnS in damp air negatively influence optical properties of a material. Occurrences of bands of the absorption which have not been connected with own electronic transitions or valence oscillations of bonds which narrow transparency area of substances are observed. Bases of a highly effective way of full extraction of oxide-ions from zinc sulfide by sulfurization by means of antimony sulfide are developed. The problem of the sulfurizing agent surplus is solved by means of CVD-process with application of an auxiliary additive of Germanium. By research of interaction in antimony sulfide - Germanium system vitrification due to exchange reaction in a solid state between components is established. The temperature of the beginning of evaporation essentially decreases compared with antimony sulfide which makes possible accelerating and deepening considerably process of clearing zinc sulfide. The specified scheme is proposed as a basis of a way and technology of obtaining highly purified, without Oxygen - containing impurities of a film-forming material zinc sulfide.
