It is revealed that, when the stochastic nature of the nucleation is taken into account in the known Farkas-Becker-Doering (FBD) system of equations describing the nucleation and growth of nuclei, there arise additional terms. It is shown that the FBD system of equations is a consequence of the assumption about the point probability distribution of the cluster composition. A generalized assumption - the multidimensional normal distribution - enabled to get a closed system of equations for the first and second moments of the probability distribution. Equations are obtained and numerically solved that describe the nucleation and growth of the Cu clusters in the FeCu alloy under different regimes of thermocycling at a linear increase or decrease of the external pressure. Differences are found and analyzed in the distribution of the copper clusters under different external regimes on the distribution in isobaric-isothermal conditions.
