The highest activity of antioxidant enzymes in the Juniperus communis seeds in the autumn period is established to be proper for the period of their maturation. It is shown that the storage of the samples within 2-3 years does not influence on the nanostructure of the Juniperus communis seeds. It is found that the large pores over 1 nm in radius are existed in the Juniperus communis seeds, which are not detected in the pressed biomaterial Nefrovil. An innovative approach for such type investigated biomaterials is proposed, which will allow a controlling the protective and antioxidant properties of herbal remedies. The proposed approach will have an important practical significance in the development of pharmaceuticals.
