INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR THE IMACT ASSESSMENT OF THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT ON CLIMATE AND ENVIRONMENT AT THE REGIONAL LEVEL USING SATELLITE IMAGERY AND TESTING AREAS Aim of the research is to improve the accuracy for the impact assessment of the greenhouse effect climate and environment at the regional level for the typical physiographic zones of Ukraine using satellite imagery, spectrometric and gasometric survey at the testing areas for natural resource management. The research is commissioned by the Presidium of NAS of Ukraine by results of the joint scientific projects competition of NAS of Ukraine and Science and Technology Center in Ukraine (STCU) in 2015 under the "Targeted research and educational initiatives" and the Presidium of NAS of Ukraine order of 25.04.2016, № 254. The bulk of the report consists of an introduction, seven chapters, 15 subsections and conclusions. The first chapter includes the analysis of the modern approaches to solving the problem of assessing the impact of the greenhouse effect on climate and the environment. The second chapter provides the experimental determination of carbon cycle in different physiographic zones of Ukraine at the testing areas using satellite imagery, spectrometric and gasometric measurments, in particular the study of variability of annual average gross primary productivity (GPP) in Ukraine and study of correlative relationships of indices red edge of vegetation with GPP for gasometric and spectrometric measurements for the production of winter wheat in Baryshivka Raion, Kiev Oblast. The third chapter provides justification for physical and biological models of carbon flows for different types of vegetation in different landscape-climatic zones of Ukraine; comparing and building of relationships between biophysical and remote sensing data. The fourth chapter presents the evaluation of planar distribution of various types of vegetation, including major crops, and integrated assessment of carbon flows within different classes of land cover for Ukraine. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the construction of mathematical models to predict the impact of the greenhouse effect on climate at the regional level. The sixth chapter provides possibility of building long-term series of satellite measurements of greenhouse gases concentrations within the study area and obtaining trends and periodic components of these concentrations. The seventh chapter contains conceptual principles for the implementation of geoinformation technologies for remote and ground measurements with the creation of thematic geoinformation system (GIS) for the study area. Key words: carbon cycle, remote sensing, vegetation index, testing area, vegetation, greenhouse gas. Product Description popup.authors А.О. Козлова В.І. Лялько Д.М. Мовчан М.О. Попов О.І.
