The NSC construction shall ensure the achievement of the following goals: 1)protection of personnel, population and environment against the effects of nuclear and radiation hazard sources related to the SO existence; 2)creation of conditions necessary for the implementation of practical activities on the SO transformation into an ecologically safe system. The object of research is the NSC-SO integrated system that has come into existence after the NSC commissioning.The goal and purpose of works on scientific and technical support at the stages of the NSC-SO system commissioning and operation envisage the solutions of problem issues, which are not regulated by effective standards and other normative documents and relate to the NSC commissioning with the necessity of the minimal risks of errors and to the unique NSC-SO system operation in the absence of any sufficient experience and direct analogs in the domestic and world practice. The analysis is carried out regarding the input data of the activities planned for the stages of the NSC-SO system commissioning and operation. Based on the analysis of the input data, the list of works that require the scientific and technical support (STS) was substantiated.
