Scalar properties of the medium are set by summarizing one-dimensional nonlinear model for viscoelasticity complex stress state. The time-independent nonlinear model of Rabotnov's type is used as a one-dimensional model of viscoelasticity. Problems of creep and stress relaxation determination are solved and experimentally proven for thin-walled tubular elements of high-density polyethylene HDPE under biaxial load. In the nonlinear fracture mechanics, the problem of the evolution of the mechanical system consisting of anisotropic linear viscoelastic body with two collinear cracks of different lengths under tensile stresses applied perpendicular to the crack line at infinity is solved for quasi-static statement. The governing system of equations and inequalities which determines the state of cracks at the arbitrary moment of time is obtained. A numerical algorithm is proposed to determine the tip location for the cracks at the given moment of time. The algorithm is tested on a problem for a composite with specified properties. A mathematical method for solving nonlinear anisotropic problems for cracked bodies is proposed. Plasticity zones development is investigated near the cracks in a plate under biaxial loading.
