These include the Azov Zr-REE deposit, Anadol REE ore occurrence (both objects are in Peri-Azovian megablock), petalite pegmatites of Shpolana-Tashlyksky ore district (Ingul megablock), Perzhanske Zn-Be deposit of Volyn megablock, main ore mineral of which is presented by genthelvite, Zhovtorichenske U-V-Sc deposit (Ingul megablock). The aim of research was to establish the mineral composition and formation conditions of these objects, in which industrial concentration of rare metals on the Ukrainian Shield is presented in comparison with the traditional composition of ores in other places of the planet untypical minerals hub. Research methods are x-ray, electronography (microprobe JCXA-733, scanning electron microscope JEOL JSM-6700F with ED spectrometer JED-2300), thermobarometric, cryometric, gas analysis, ICP-MS method for determination of REE and trace elements using the analyzer Element-2, X-ray fluorescence (XRF), photoluminescence, infrared spectroscopy; optical identification of minerals was carried out using a polarizing microscope MIN-9, Polmi A (Karl Zeiss Jena) and stereomicroscope SZM-45T2 Zoom series. For photographing in transmitted light was used digital camera Power Shot A630 (Canon) (all in the N. P. Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Ore Formation of NAS of Ukraine). Outside the Institute for the study of zircon was used scanning electron microscope JEOL JSM-6510LA with ED spectrometer JED-2200 (IGGD Russian Academy of Sciences, Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation), the concentration of REE and rare elements was determined by ion microprobe Cameca IMS-4f. The size of the test plots is less than 20 microns in diameter; the relative error of the determination of most components was 10-15%, sensitivity is an average 10 ppb. The crystallization temperature of zircon was determined using titanium thermometer. Results. Deposits in which the concentrators of REE and other rare metals are untypical minerals formed special initial conditions. Important role in the formation of deposits played the imposed flows of CO2 fluids: participated in the formation of a new ore type: like petalites, carbonates of REE (mainly bastnaesite), crystallization of genthelvite.
