Aim: determination of main factors of shaping the dose of residents from surveyed contaminated settlements in Kyiv district and dose assessment at the current stage of the accident. Methods: spectrometric, radiochemical, mathematical, statistical. Results: The comprehensive radiation and hygienic monitoring of 8 settlements in Kyiv district (Rahivka, Lugovyky, Zelena Poliana (zone 4), Marianivka (zone 3) villages in Poliske region and Pisky, Karpylivka, Dytiatky, Gornostaipil (zone 3) villages in Ivankiv region) were carried out in 2016. It was registered the annual internal irradiation doses kept reducing in surveyed settlements: Karpylivka 2.8 times lower (0.109 mSv/year in 2013, 0.039 mSv/year in 2016), Zelena Poliana - 2.6 times (0.090 mSv/year in 2013, 0.035 mSv/year in 2016), Rahivka – 4.1 times (0.174 mSv/year in 2013, 0,042 mSv/year in 2016) while there weren’t fixed any season dependence of radionuclides accumulation. It was determined the gender, occupation, age-dependent features of shaping the dose of internal exposure of surveyed in 2016 settlements . The 137Cs and 90Sr content in the mail victuals (milk and potato) are far lower permissible limits pointed in Hygiene Standards ГН 6.6.1.1-130-2006. And those victuals consumption hardly changes shaping the internal exposure doses. The highest radioactive cesium content was registered in dry mushrooms, it exceeds considerably the permissible limits. The intake of even low portion of that kind of victuals causes considerable internal exposure doses. It was shown the natural radiation background level in surveyed settlements became about the average value taken over whole Ukraine. The evaluated this year annual effective dose equivalent of external exposure in surveyed settlements is below the mean one which had been evaluated before the accident and due to natural background only. It was revealed that this year annual effective dose equivalents in surveyed settlements were due to internal exposure doses, which didn’t exceed 0.22 mSv/yearin Polisske regionand 0.17 mSv/year in Ivankiv region what is lower the criteria for contaminated areas.
