Aim: to determine the spider species of the Natural Reserve "Yelanetskyi Steppe" and evaluation of the number of rare and vulnerable species. Novelty: the araneofauna of the Natural Reserve "Yelanetskyi Steppe" is studied for the first time. There were determined typical spider species for the southern steppes of Ukraine, as well as rare and endangered ones. One species is new for the fauna of Ukraine.
