Karazin popup.description2 The object of research is the investment infrastructure of the Kharkiv region. The purpose of the research is to provide theoretical and methodological substantiation and development of practical recommendations for the formation of an effective mechanism for the development of the investment infrastructure of the Kharkiv region, as well as the identification of promising areas of investment. The results of the study are a synthesis of methodological approaches to assessing the state of the investment climate in conditions of decentralization and the creation of an author's methodics for assessing the region's innovation activity (calculation of the structural distance index). Also, the research on the impact of energy efficiency on the investment attractiveness of the region has been carried out and the main approaches to assessing the social effects of investments have been formulated, as well as the conceptual bases of investing in network type objects have been substantiated, and high-tech factors of the investment environment management of the region have been formed. The recommendations for forming the mechanism of development of investment infrastructure of Kharkiv region are given. Research results are of practical interest to entrepreneurs, non-governmental organizations and other business entities; also, they can be used by state regional and district administrations in the development and implementation of Regional Programs for Investment Infrastructure Development.
