The purpose of the study is to study the processes of photostimulated synthesis of metal nanoparticles, in particular gold, silver and copper, to create hybrid structures on their basis. Research methods - spectrophotometry, dark field microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, potentiometry, interference microscopy, statistical analysis and modeling. The results of determination of the diameter of spherical silver nanoparticles by methods of atomic force microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, optical spectroscopy and nanotracking are compared. It has been established that the average values of nanoparticle diameters are comparable for all the above-mentioned research methods. The specific particle size distribution depends on the method of investigation and more narrow distributions can be obtained from direct measurement methods. The general tendency is established that the difference between the energy of the electromagnetic excitation wave and the resonance energy for the formed silver nanoparticles is decahedral in shape less than for prismatic particles. Photostimulated synthesis can potentially become one of the main methods for the synthesis of metal nanoparticles.
