It was shown, the cryogel of polyvinyl alcohol with immobilized lysozyme, entrapped chlorhexidine and disodium salt of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid displays marked antibacterial activity in rats buccal mucous membrane. Usage of lysozyme-containing cryogel influences the antidisbiotic and anti-inflammatory actions, thus promoting the increasing of hyaluronic acid concentration to normal. Research of oftalmoinnocuosness of "artificial tears" eye drops with lysozyme, conducted in accordance with the GLP requirements, had shown that the preparation makes no allergenic action at conduction of conjunctival test on guinea pigs.
