Results. Sterilizing effect of gametocides on winter triticale and wheat variety was studied. Gametocide dibutyl phthalate provided high sterilizing effect on wheat variety Horlytsia Myronivska and ethrel did on triticale variety Amur and wheat variety Oberih Myronivskyi. Differentiation in the response of varieties to processing with various hametocides indicates the probability of high level of sterilization in the range of varieties and expediency in search universal hametocides.
