The purpose of the research is to improve the energy-saving methods of basic soil cultivation in grain three-field crop rotation of the Right-bank Forest-steppe. Methods of research: field, laboratory, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: It was established energy saving methods of basic tillage, which ensure high productivity of crops depending on the direction of specialization. It were studied three systems of basic tillage in the three-field grain crop rotation: unmanned basic cultivation by heavy cultivators; plowing and disk processing by heavy disc harrows using plant residues for fertilization. It was obtained the results of the assessment of the effect of basic tillage systems on the productivity of crops in crops of three-field crop rotation: soybean (2.25-2.48 t / ha), winter wheat (6.63-7.27 t / ha), maize for grain (5.97-7.08 t / ha). There is an insignificant advantage in the productivity of winter wheat and soybean in police plowing (+0.20 and 0.14 t / ha) compared to the energy-saving processing method (deep loosening of the soil to a depth of 16-18 cm). The plowing caused a decrease in corn grain yield of 11.2-18.6% compared to surface and soil-free tillage. The performance indicators of the three-field grain crop rotation tend to grow with the use of soil-free tillage (deep loosening of the soil to a depth of 16-18 cm): the yield of fodder and grain units increased by 0.15 and 0.07 t / ha as compared to the polishing treatment of soil - 6.63 t / ha. The calculations of the profitability of growing crops in a three-field crop rotation indicate the expediency of replacing plowing with energy-saving methods of basic tillage, which allow increasing the profitability level by 7-10% compared to the control.
