The main attention is paid to modern syste, in particular, Sentinel, data from which are offered to customers in different forms, both original and compressed. It is proven that noise is signal-dependent and spatially correlated, This leads to bnecessity to estimate noise spectroun directly from acquired images. It is shown that for multichannel images it is possible to effectively exploit high inter-channel correlation of imformation components for improving accuracy of noise estimation. The methods and algorithms are tested for real-life images of nodern airborne sensors.
