The results of research work (stage I) allow to determine the composition of new composite materials for coatings deposition: NiCrBSiC-TiB2, FeNiCrBSiC-CrB2, FeNiCrBSiC-TiB2. These systems are characterized by small contact angles and chemical interaction leading to the formation of hard borides and carboborides that can improve wear-resistance.
