The report presents the results of expeditionary studies of the State Institution "Institute of Marine Biology of the NAS of Ukraine", carried out on March 9 and 14, 2017 in the coastal zone of the Odessa Gulf in the width of 1000 m in the zone of influence of BCS "Severnaya" (from the youth camp "Molodaya Gvardiya" to the oil harbor of the Odessa port). Samples of water, sediments and aquatic organisms for assessing the possible environmental impact of water discharge from the Khadzhibey estuary to the marine environment were selected on four sections (three stations each). A total of 13 stations were completed. Due to weather conditions (ice formation up to 40 cm thick), the survey of the Hadzhibey Estuary was not carried out. However, in the report we used the results of complex ecological observations conducted on July 13 and 15, 2016 in the north of the Hadzhibey Estuary in the area of discharge However, in the report we used the results of complex ecological observations conducted on 13 and 15 July 2016 in the north of the Hadzhibey Estuary in the area of the discharge waters CBS "Severnaya" into the estuary (9 stations altogether) and in the Odessa Gulf at the same observation range as in the current year , but with a large number of stations (22 stations) on August 2, 2016. Both times all the samples in the Gulf of Odessa selected on the waterfront at a depth of up to 1 m and at a distance of 250 m (the distance of the head of the discharge collector CBS "Severnaya" to the sea) and 1000 m from the shore. The total distance between the outermost sections of the observation stations is 5 km, while the central section was located on the traverse of the discharge of the waters BCS "Severnaya" into the sea. Based on a study of water pollution and bottom sediments, and also he spatial distribution of phytoplankton, zooplankton, meio- and macrozoobenthos that make up the fodder base of fish, we estimated the preliminary ecological consequences of the discharge of the waters of the Khadzhibey Estuary into the coastal zone of the sea. The report is presented in 8 sections on 86 pages, illustrated by 19 figures and 71 tables. Product Description popup.authors Адобовський В.В. Александров Б.Г. Большой Д.В.с.н.с. Бондаренко О.С.
