For the first time in Ukraine a comparative analysis of the genetic structure of communities of round-goby and monkey goby in the north-western part of the Black Sea and adjacent waters by loci of biochemical markers were carried out. The frequency of alleles and genotypes at polymorphic loci, the level of genetic variation and similarity of communities of Gobies were established. Taking into account the genetic similarity indices their population structure was found out in this part of species areal. The stock of round gobies was calculated for coastal part of the north-western Black Sea - 76.5 kg per ha or 2,145 ind. per ha, which roughly coincides with the calculations that were made earlier on the basis of labeling fish (1434 ind. per ha).
