By atomic-force microscopy methods, it was shown that the interaction between the photosensitive amorphous films of As20Se80 chalcogenide glass placed above the metallic nanostructures and the localized near field that caused by irradiation leads to a mass-transport resulting in topography changes on a nanometer length scale.
