Despite all the difficulties, intensive work on facility optimization was carried out in 2016. A procedure for UPS battery testing has been developed and implemented, what resulted in picking out a number of additional battery spares which is enough for replacing all the batteries in one of the UPS'. The KIPT CF network infrastructure has been upgraded to provide a 2 times greater network bandwidth. The outer network routing has been changed to the LHCONE scheme which is supported by CERN, with increasing the remote-link bandwidth to 2 Gbps using a duplicate optical channel. As a result, the rate of the CMS data transfers to site T2_UA_KIPT has been increased to ~2 Gbps. A high level of site stability and reliability has been provided for the whole year of 2016, and an intensive flow of data for processing at the facility lasted during the year. More than 970 TB of data was transferred to center T2_UA_KIPT from the beginning of the year up to time of report preparation, what exceeds the total amount of CMS data transferred to the site for all the previous years of its participation in the CMS Grid infrastructure. About 30,000 kHEPspec06-hours (~2 times greater than in 2015) of site computing resources have been consumed for the year. This is 85% (93.4%) of the total resource consumption of the national Grid infrastructure of Ukraine, NGI_UA, by all (associated with the LHC) virtual organizations. This quantity corresponds also to continuous exploitation of 100% of T2_UA_KIPT present total computing productivity during half a year. More than 115 TB of Monte Carlo (MC) data was generated at T2_UA_KIPT and transferred to other sites of the CMS Grid infrastructure in 2016. This is also exceeds the total amount of CMS MC data generated at the KIPT CF before. For T2_UA_KIPT, the site operation quality, which is determined by a level of site readiness for CMS data processing, was 99 % in 2016, what is practically a maximum level. As a result, operation of site T2_UA_KIPT in 2016 has been accounted for in 2016 as 7.6 FTE-months of general support of the CMS experiment, what is a fairly good estimate. So, all the tasks on support of the CMS T2 center T2_UA_KIPT in 2016 have been successfully completed. A great amount of work has been also carried out on physics analysis of the CMS data. Search for SUSY particles was completed through the analysis of all the data (2.3 fb-1) accumulated by the CMS in 2015. Events with large missing transverse energy and reconstructed pair of opposite-sign high-transverse-momentum leptons were selected. Such a signature can be generated by production in the intermediate state of either slepton pair or opposite-sign charginos. The result of the analysis is in a fair agreement with the standard model predictions. To accomplish this work, 2475 CPU-hours (103 CPU-days) or 7150 elapsed-time (wall-clock) hours (298 days) of the WLCG computing resources have been utilized. In total, ~7800 analysis jobs were submitted to the WLCG/CMS infrastructure, with 90 % of tthis total amount being successfully completed.
