The aim is to provide the parameters of wave processes in the ionosphere with the help of the incoherent scatter radar and ionosonde of Ukraine and EISCAT. The research methods are the ground-based radio physical methods, such as: the incoherent scatter of radio waves and vertical radio sounding. We conducted joint research of wave processes in the mid-latitude and auroral ionosphere in quiet and disturbed conditions using incoherent scatter radars and ionosondes of Ukraine and EISCAT. During sudden stratospheric warming, the wave processes with periods of 40 - 60 minutes and the relative amplitudes of 0.04 - 0.25 are mainly observed. The duration of these processes does not exceed 2 - 3 periods. The direction of the vertical phase velocity of traveling ionospheric disturbances indicated the sources of disturbances to be in the bottom or near-surface atmosphere. The wave processes with significant vertical phase velocity observed over Troms? are likely to have been caused by the rebuilding of the wind system in the auroral atmosphere or precipitation of energetic particles from the radiation belts, stimulated by geospace storm. The effects on the ionosphere by powerful radio waves caused aperiodic bursts in the critical frequency of the F2-region of the ionosphere have the value of 0.1 - 0.4 MHz. The time delay with respect to the moment of switching on the heating facility was 5 - 15 minutes, and the duration was not more than 10 - 15 min. A decrease in the absolute value of bursts with increasing distance from the heating facility is determined. Observed wave perturbations were generated by powerful radio waves, as evidenced by their estimated propagation velocity (about 300 - 500 m / s) and its dependence on the height. The results of research can be used in basic investigations of solar-terrestrial relations and the near-Earth environment, and also for applications associated with the influence of wave propagation in the ionospheric plasma on telecommunications and the operation of the satellite equipment in outer space.
