Purpose - improving the energy efficiency and capacity of technology manufacturing billets for power engineering with increased quality due to the usage of new schemes with combined temperature and mechanical impact on billet during forging processes. Theoretical and practical results - obtained idea of the stress-strain state of the workpiece in the process of forging shafts, rotors and upsetting discs by new schemes which are based on combined thermomechanical impact.
