A database of "slag mixes" was created, containing information on the viscosity and electrical conductivity of 480 compositions of various slag mixes. On the basis of data from the database "slag mixes" an analysis of the viscosity, electrical conductivity and phase composition of the melts of oxide systems, which are the basis of domestic slag mixes. It is shown that the investigated molten compounds are heterogeneous systems and their use is scientifically groundless.
