The objects of study are the processes of data transformation, processing and transmission in wireless sensor networks. The objective is to develop methods and tools for data processing and transmitting in wireless sensor networks, that are intended to increase the reliability and performance of their work and expand their functionality. Methods of research - the theory of information and coding, number theory methods, noise-immunity data encoding methods, methods and tools for digital system design and implementation on FPGA. The results and novelty of the study - the method of correcting codes formation based on Residue Number System was developed, that generates check symbols without transforming the message into the Residue Number System by dividing the message into parts and choosing the required value of modules, and thus reduces the hardware costs and increases the speed of coding; the method of error correction in two information symbols based on modular correction codes is developed, it does not require storing a table of syndromes due to the solution of Diophantine equation, and thus reduces the hardware costs for the implementation of the decoding process; the correcting codes in the Residue Number System were improved due to the use of a special system of modules, which reduces the hardware complexity and enhances the implementation speed of encoders / decoders on the Field-Programmable Gate Array; the two-dimensional method of error control with use of modular correction codes has been further developed, it provides the effective correction of random single error and error packages with a maximum length of 3k-2 (k - the number of information symbols per line) by calculating the syndrome in columns and rows of the data matrix; an analytical method for finding co-prime modules, that establish the perfect form of the Residue Number System, is developed. The use of these modules reduces the hardware complexity of algorithms for correcting errors while transmitting data with the use of correcting codes based on the Residue Number System.
