The efficiency of using the pulse character of arc burning to control the geometric characteristics of the weld metal, the parameters of electrode metal transfer, the chemical composition, structure and mechanical properties of the weld metal has been confirmed. The equipment for the implementation of pulsed feed of a flux-cored wire with a frequency of up to 60 Hz has been developed. In accordance with the requirements of the standard EN ISO 15607: 2003, WPS (Technical requirements for welding technology) and WPQR (Welding technology certification protocol) and initial provision of underwater pulsed arc welding technology of the high-duty objects from steels of increased strength has been developed. Experimental and industrial verification of the developed technology was carried out.
