The research work is devoted to the scientific and theoretical substantiation of alternative models of social development management in the global information space and the development of an optimal model for Ukraine. During the second stage of the study: a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of models for managing public development; strategic priorities of development of Ukraine in the conditions of formation of global information space are defined; The model of formation of the national information space, its attraction to the world information space is characterized. This allowed us to approach the scientific and theoretical substantiation of alternative models of managing public development in the global information space and developing an optimal model for Ukraine.
