The purpose of the work is research of stress-strain state and providing of durability by creating and applying non-linear models of the behavior of the surface layers material of contacting complex shaped details of military and civilian vehicles based on new approaches and research methods. Research methods are: finite and boundary elements methods, complemented and developed to take account of local contact stiffness of interacting bodies; Hertz method; methods of solving systems of linear and nonlinear equations; methods of convex mathematical programming; variation inequalities. The results of work are methods of research of contact interaction and geometric synthesis of surfaces shape of complex shaped bodies, taking into account physical and structural nonlinearity; the structure and filling of a unified system of solving equations for analyzing the contact interaction of complex shaped bodies and geometric synthesis of the shape of their surfaces, taking into account physical and structural nonlinearities.
