Aim of the work is to create new and develop already existed methods of calcu-lations for complex shaped objects radar visibility on underlying surfaces, and devel-oping multispectral measuring complex for determining objectrs radar characteristics and creating measurement procedure for determining the characteristics of the visibil-ity of the entire object during planar scanning in the near-field. Investigation method - for calculations of radiowaves scattering on complex shape object PO-SBR method is used. Results of work: a new technique was proposed that allows us to evaluate the re-flected field for a complex form object situated on an arbitrary substrate surface using three simulations for known types of underlying surfaces. The research was carried out on the choice of the minimum angular step of the calculation of the scattering di-agram of the object necessary for the determination of statistical parameters reflected field with the predefined accuracy. A technique is proposed that allows to signifi-cantly increase the accuracy of calculations of the probability of object detection. A method for characterizing the radar detectability of objects and the degree of its reduction by applying some masking means, which is independent as possible f-rom the radar characteristics, was created. The decomposition method of measuring RCS in the near zone in detail is proposed, using the numerical modeling, the efficiency of this method is confirmed. A multispectral measuring complex for measuring the scattering properties of an object in field conditions has been developed: suitable instruments for measuring are proposed, structural diagrams and technical characteristics of devices are given, the pro-cedure for measuring measurements is described, the previous drawings of the position-ing device for moving the device in space are presented.
