Special attention is paid to modeling and forecasting the impact of social benefits and taxes paid by households on their income, income differentiation and on the main aspects of the quality of life of the population. The approbation of developed methodological approaches in assessing the effects of household's direct and indirect taxation, the tax burden on social benefits received by families and their members, the potential number of participants in the program of housing subsidies, etc. The results of research provide the basis for development and introduction of effective practical tools in Ukraine for evaluating and forecasting the effectiveness of social assistance programs and fiscal policies and their impact on the quality of life of the population at the level of households and individuals.
