The main results were obtained on the development of new methods for assessing the technical state of modern polymer insulation of high-voltage and super-high-voltage cables for improving the technology of their testing and certification as well as new methods for improving the energy and dynamic characteristics of semiconductor electrical discharge installations with controllable feedback for improving modern technologies for the production of nanopowders and colloid systems. The novelty of the studies is confirmed by the modern level of the developed models and electro-technological equipment; by application of new approaches to theoretical, experimental and computer studies of electro-physical and electromagnetic processes. The practical value of research is to develop techniques and recommendations for optimization of modes and improving the electrical equipment: - semiconductor electrical discharge systems with controllable voltage feedback for the implementation of modern technologies for obtaining the spark-eroded nanostructured powder and colloid systems; - industrial electro-technological lines of the "Yuzhkabel" Works (Kharkov) for production, testing and certification of world-class cable products with cross-linked polyethylene insulation for voltages up to 330 kV.
