An adaptive system of the "electronic nose" type provides an analysis of the appropriate gas phase, which allows for the rapid establishment of compliance with the standard (standard) of products whose composition is unknown (food, beverages, medical preparations, etc.). The advantages of the device are due to the fact that it is based on the principles that are inherent in the processes of chemical analysis and identification in living beings (human system and animal olfactory system). Technical implementation combines physical sensory systems based on acoustic transducers, chemical sensitive layers and processing tools based on multidimensional statistics. The basis of the system is new adaptive photosensitive materials, gas-phase analytical methods and methods of expert evaluation, implemented in the form of integrated with the device information system. On the basis of the developed prototype, the concept of a demonstration-experimental complex was proposed, which was used for the development of teaching methods in higher educational institutions of Ukraine (NPU) and for the development of gifted youth of school age (Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine). There are no analogues in Ukraine.
