For the first time in Ukraine, the methodology of simulation of the technologies of centralized, autonomous and individual heat supply of residential areas was developed and implemented taking into account regional architectural and climatic differences, selected technologies of housing thermo-modernization, existing infrastructure of networks of transportation and distribution of thermal energy and fuel and energy resources; a unified energy economic criterion and a new methodical approach for optimization of the composition of various types of generating sources of local heat supply systems are proposed; firstly developed methods for determining the energy efficiency of combined production of electric energy and heat by nuclear power plants, heat and cold - heat pump plants; received a further development of an assessment of the total energy intensity of the reconstruction and new construction of energy-efficient residential buildings; for the first time the methodological bases were developed and the project "Methodology for calculating the share of energy produced by heat pumps from renewable sources" on the request of the European Parliament and Council Directive 2009/28 / EC and the Law of Ukraine "On Alternative Energy Sources". The results of the work should be used in further fundamental and applied research aimed at the development of comprehensive programs for the reconstruction of heat supply systems of settlements of Ukraine using the latest technologies of combined production of electric energy, heat and cold in agreement with measures of thermo-modernization of buildings, development of National reports of Ukraine on the use of heat pumps, as a renewable energy source. The results of the work determine the actual directions and contain new scientific provisions that together provide an economically sound approach to solving the problems of integrated reconstruction of the heat supply systems of settlements of Ukraine in order to radically reduce the consumption of fossil fuels, greenhouse gas emissions, maximize the attraction of renewable energy sources through coordinated implementation of measures improving energy efficiency of houses and introducing the latest technologies of production and supply of heat energy .
