Data on ITS1/5.8"/ITS2 and 28S LSU of nrDNA and 12S SSU of mtDNA sequences of 15 specimens belonging to 5 species are obtained. Data for three species on genes mentioned are for the first time submitted to the GenBank. New for science genus for the Caloplaca amarkantakana group of the subfamily Caloplacoideae of the family Teloschistaceae as well as new for science species Rusavskia indica S. Y. Kondr. et D. K. Upreti, and Rusavskia upretii S. Y. Kondr., G. K. Mishra et S. Nayaka, as well as new for science lichenicolous fungus Leptosphaeria oxneriae Cl. Roux et S. Y. Kondr. are described. New taxa of the genera Huriella, Squamulea and Rusavskia of the subfamily Xanthorioideae of the Teloschistaceae as well as new species of the genus Letrouitia of the Letrouitiaceae are also found. The genus Megaspora is for the first time recorded for India. It is shown that Indian species Caloplaca awasthii is not conspecific with American taxon Wetmoreana texana on the basis of molecular data.
