The purpose of the research work is the development of the scientific basis of predictive 3D modeling of the working process of high-speed grinding of structural and alloy steels, copper, titanium and aluminum alloys by abrasive wheels. At the present stage, there are no methods for predicting 3D modeling of abrasive high-speed grinding of structural and alloy steels, copper, titanium and aluminum alloys, which is based on the finite element method. There is no analysis of the finite elements of the strained-deformed state of the contact point of the abrasive wheel and the plastic parts, which makes it impossible to create a complete thermomechanical model of the working process of grinding, both in traditional ways, and with the crossed axes of the tool and the part. With an increase of the speed of polishing to almost 100 m / s, there are significant changes in the physical pattern of the process of grinding abrasive wheels of structural and alloy steels, copper, titanium and aluminum alloys. The theoretical bases of the thermomechanical model of the working process of abrasive grinding have been developed. It will allow to predict the stress-deformed and thermal state in the cutting zone, which will enable to determine the optimal cutting modes when processing parts from plastic materials, increase the productivity of grinding in 2-2,5 times and provide high physical-mechanical properties and quality of the surface layer of the treated surface. The research results will become the scientific basis for the creation of new plastic metal materials, a perspective abrasive tool, new technologies and methods of abrasive grinding.
