By using it the possibility of accelerating the test bunch with its simultaneous focusing in both transverse directions is demonstrated. It is shown that for distributed systems synchronization detuning along one of the axes of the 4-D space can be offset by the detuning of the opposite sign along other axes. Such nonlocal synchronization conditions give more opportunities for efficient interaction of waves in the medium. The influence of the current value of the ion beam on its transport in the section of the experimental model of the linear high-current ion accelerator in the presence of compensating electron beams is found.
