Object - experimental study of neurobiological mechanisms of psychoactive substances withdrawal syndrome under different kinds of addictive behavior and development of approaches to their correction by transplantation of emotiogenic brain embryonic tissues. Methods - neuroethological, neurophysiological, biochemical, mathematical. List of measurement technique tools - supplement A. Neurobehavioral, limbic-neocortical, central and peripheral mediator-hormonal and metabolic mechanisms of development of withdrawal syndrome of alcohol consumption, inhalations of organic solvent "646" vapors, self-stimulation of brain emotiogenic areas have been studied on the addictive behavior models in rats. Age factor, initial emotional state and endocrine profile contribute to the mechanisms of withdrawal syndrome development. Hippocampus makes a triggering role in the general cerebral mechanisms of withdrawal syndrome development. Generalization of excitation into neocortex and specific olfactory-hypothalamic interactions under volatile organic substance (VOS) withdrawal; septohypothalamic - under alcohol withdrawal and reticular - under brain self-stimulation withdrawal were established. Specific alterations of dopamine- and norepinephrinergic neurotransmission in the hypothalamus were established for chemical addictions. They were accompanied with cholinergic activation of olfactory areas under VOS inhalations withdrawal and septohyppocampal and septohypothalamic cholinergic activation under alcohol withdrawal. Interactions between nitric oxide and steroid hormones systems in the brain regions were disturbed under alcohol withdrawal and recovered after intranasal introduction of NO donator - sodium nitroprusside. The approaches to the correction of withdrawal syndrome under chemical addictions with implantations of brain embryonic tissues have been developed as well. Product Description popup.authors Єна Р.
