The recovery of nickel occurs from the corresponding sodium borohydride chloride in situ prior to the catalytic study (in the atmosphere of hydrogen or, in its absence). The proposed approach allows nickel-containing catalysts to be obtained without contact with air oxygen, which is important for avoiding oxidation and decontamination of the active component.Optimization of the synthesis conditions of the composite and the reaction can significantly increase the activity of nickel-containing composites and achieve the yield of phenol at 90%.
