In the control nursery, based on the level of overall combining ability, 120 maternal components were evaluated, of which 30 hybrids were selected, which could be used as components of synthetic varieties. Of the 13 breeding rooms in the competitive variety trial, a significant increase in yields (from 0.37 to 1.15 t / ha) over the national standards was provided by 8 selection rooms.
