A study was made of the dependence of the conditions for obtaining coatings on their structure and heat resistance. The first stage of the work is devoted to the search for optimal conditions for obtaining samples with NbSi2 and to study the influence of the parameters of coatings on their heat resistance. The object of the study is heat-resistant silicide coatings on samples with Nb. The aim of the work is the creation and investigation of protective coatings on products used in aircraft construction, in particular gas turbine engine blades. The coating was obtained in a vacuum experimental setup, which allows use the vacuum activated diffusion saturation metod for the metal surface coating. Research methods: analysis of the metallographic structure of the samples was carried out using an optical microscope MMO 1600; X-ray diffraction structural studies were carried out on a DRON-3M instrument; Studies of the heat resistance of samples with Nb with silicide coatings were carried out in a research high-temperature air furnace at 1200° C. The results of this work can be used to further search for the parameters for applying protective coatings for gas turbine engine blades.
