It was found, that esterase activity of the obtained homogenates, determined for 2-naphthyl acetate was higher, than for 1-naphthyl acetate. The belonging of esterases in homogenates of Rapana venosa to the carboxylesterase family was confirmed. Greater activity of the esophageal gland homogenate esterases in the acidic medium and at high temperatures was shown. Using Rapana venosa digestive glands homogenates enantioselective hydrolysis of 3-acetoxy-7-bromo-5-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one was performed.
