The optimal conditions for the developed materials and coatings application were determined on the basis of tribotechnical tests. It has been shown that the metal-ceramic electro-spark and detonation coatings can be used under the conditions of abrasive wear, dry-sliding at loads up to 7 MPa and friction speeds up to 12 m / s. The ratio of metal and refractory components in the coating material can be changed for the various fields of application depending on the speed and loading conditions of operation, requirements for strength, work life, the limit value of wear.
