The object of study - the process move (transfer) of goods across the customs border of Ukraine in international mail and express shipments. Purpose - to develop a mechanism of risk analysis when moving (sending) goods across the customs border of Ukraine in international mail and express shipments. Methods - the method of synthesis and analysis, synthesis, abstraction, dialectical knowledge (to form the theoretical basis of the study); comparison method and integrated approach. The scientific novelty of the work is a synthesis of historical and international legal aspects of the establishment of the postal service and its interaction with customs; determining the peculiarities of the implementation of customs formalities on international mail exchange; systematizing international approaches and recommendations in the area of customs control when moving goods in international mail and express shipments; determining the organizational and information technology requirements for risk analysis mechanism when moving (sending) goods across the customs border of Ukraine in international mail and express shipments.
