The purpose of the project is to synthesize and study the catalytic activity of compounds containing several N-hydroxyimidic groups in reactions of aerobic oxidation . Research methods - gas volumetry, NMR, IR spectroscopy, gas chromatography, ESR. As part of the project, three poly-N-hydroxyimides were synthesized, and their structure was confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy. Their catalytic action in the reaction of homogeneous aerobic oxidation of isopropylbenzene has been investigated. It is shown that the addition of radical thermal initiators or metal salts of valency variable leads to a significant increase in the initial oxidation velocity. Measurement of initial oxidation rates for systems involving poly-N-hydroxyimides and characterized conversion and yields of the target product (acetophenone). Registered and characterized EPR spectra of key intermediates of oxidation - N-oxyl radicals. These predictions find various practical applications, such as lowering the temperature of the technological process, initiating oxidation, increasing the selectivity of the reaction.
