The scientific significance of the work done is that, based on the analysis of the patterns of structure - chemical and photophysical properties for a series of new conjugated poly- and oligothiophenic systems, structural factors have been identified that contribute to the growth of their semiconductor and optical conductor properties. The practical significance of the conducted study - the synthesized new linear and star-shaped polymeric and oligomeric conjugated systems can be used in molecular electronics to build electronic devices - light-emitting diodes, solar panels and organic lasers.
