After 16th cycle of LTMC the concentration level of admixtures of heavy metals, potassium and rubidium became lower than the requirements of technical conditions for extra pure CsI. Three sample parties of 1.6 kg CsI salt were obtained after 12, 16 and 20 cycles of LTMC and experimental samples of CsI(Tl) crystals were grown from each party of the charge. The scintillation parameters of samples of the single crystals obtained from technoge- nic charge purified by the multiple LTMC are practically coincident with those for the crystals grown from commercial extra pure salt. The LTMC method gives possibility to perform the purification of technogenic aqueous solutions of cesium iodide to purity level corresponding to that of the charge available for obtaining optical single crystals at the considerably higher product yield.
