The purpose of the work is to research the hydrochemical conditions and bio-productive potential of the complex usage reservoir with the development of regimes for their effective and full-fledged fishery use. The scientific report contains a description of the hydrochemical regime and seasonal peculiarities of the development of the natural forage base of various types of complex usage reservoirs; species composition estimation, age structure, reproductive potential of industrial ichthyofauna; the characterization of the epizootic and sanitary state of the reservoirs; calculations of fish stocks; modes of rational management of fishery in complex usage reservoirs; practical recommendations for carrying out of fish farming and melioration measures. For the first time integrated researches of complex usage reservoirs of the Pridniprovsky region have been carried out, their hydroecological and epizootic condition, stocks of industrial fish species and fish productivity potential have been determined. Practical recommendations contain limits on catching fish in complex usage reservoirs, calculations of introductions of herbivorous and aboriginal fish species, a complex of reclamation and antiepizootic measures, which will increase the productivity of reservoirs by 20-30%.
