The purpose of the work is to replenish the national information fund of Ukraine with current state and retrospective bibliographic resources, providing international exchange of bibliographic information, providing society with analytical information and providing methodological assistance on the bibliographic description of various types of documents. Methods of research are analytical and synthetic processing, system analysis, bibliographic detection, selection, monitoring, bibliometric analysis, bibliographic characteristics, grouping. Research results: current thematic and updated synthesized bibliographic databases for 2017-2018; lists of newspapers and magazines, materials of which are included in the state bibliography database of 2018; analytical reviews of materials from the databases of the state bibliography for 2017; retrospective databases of certain types of editions 1922-1940, 1950, 1960 рр.; methodical recommendations on bibliographic description of electronic resources; analytical theme reviews; annual reports. Scientific novelty: it is for the first time in Ukraine there were created databases of the state bibliography of all types of editions for 2017-2018; the database of publications on European and Euro-Atlantic integration was formed on the Republic of Belarus for 2018 was formed; analytical reviews were developed on the basis of bibliometric analysis of the databases of the state bibliography of books, dissertations dissertations and journal articles of 2017, instructional and methodological documents on the bibliographical description of books and brochures, abstracts of dissertations, abbreviations in the bibliographic description and the formation of the structure of bibliographic indexes. The Research results are intended for use by: state authorities, libraries, higher educational establishments, publishing houses, scientific institutions, the National Book Chamber of Belarus, other users of information in Ukraine and abroad.
