It was found that under conditions of exposure to culture liquids of microscopic fungi with elevated lipase and catalase activity for 90 days the weight reduction of the samples was: 3,23-16,7% for rubber, 12,65-21,61% for EVA and 2,49-3,74% for PPE. The ability of Bacillus subtilis 138 to produce acetic, valeric, isovaleryan and unidentified acids was found, while in sulfate-reducing bacteria, acetic, propanic and butanic acids, the introduction of polymers into the culture medium.
