Scientific novelty and practical value. The theory of electromagnetic processes in discharge-pulse systems with a plasma-erosion load in the direction of developing its new non-linear and parametric models has been further developed, which has made it possible to increase the accuracy of calculations of transient processes in them. New parametric and non-linear models of granular conductive media have been developed that are more adequate when the duration and amplitude of discharge pulses vary in a wide range. Simulink-models of discharge-pulse systems with such a load were created and investigated transients in them when changing the parameters of the reactive elements of the discharge circuit and the initial conditions on them in a wide range. According to the results of these calculations, a map of the electrical modes of plasma-erosion processing of the layer of aluminum granules was created. This made it possible to choose the parameters of the reactive elements of the discharge circuit of the pulse generator and the initial conditions on them that are most favorable for obtaining fine plasma-erosive aluminum particles, which are the basis for the formation of highly active coagulant for water purification for the systems for feeding of thermal units. The efficiency of the most perspective modes of clarification of surface waters by plasma-erosion coagulation has been investigated in practice on the created laboratory installation. As a result of the research, a technical assignment for the creation of plasma-erosion coagulation technology for purification of "raw" water for thermal units has been developed, which was implemented at the joint stock company "Kyivenergo".
