The necessity of developing a new version of the Battle Statutes of a mechanized battalion, a Land Force tank battalion in accordance with military standards requirements is conditioned by the current needs of troops, carried out in accordance with the principles and standards adopted by the NATO member states, the latest trends in the development of forms and methods of armed struggle by the Army units, and their implementation, after approbation in the troops, will allow more fully to take into account existing trends. When working with the GDR materials, an analysis of the compliance of the contents of the current Military Status of the Land Forces, part II of the requirements of the guiding documents and the modern needs of the troops was carried out, the use of subdivisions of the ground forces of the armies of the leading countries of the world in local wars and armed conflicts at the end of the twentieth century of the XXI century, and also the experience the fight against the Russian aggressor in the East of Ukraine.
